Atari Pixel Editor - Shareware License
======================================

Atari Pixel Editor is distributed in the classic shareware spirit.

You may use the program for testing, learning, creating Atari graphics, and
checking whether it fits your workflow. The unregistered version does not
disable saving, exporting, PMG, DLI, XEX, charset editing, or other editor
features.

If you use the program regularly or in a real project, you are expected to
register your copy, support the author, or otherwise contribute back to the
project. Registration terms, if any, are defined by the author outside this
file.

Registration, when used, stores the registered owner name and license key in a
small license INI file placed next to the executable. Registration does not
unlock hidden editor features, because the shareware build intentionally keeps
editing, saving, importing, exporting, PMG, DLI, XEX, and charset tools
available.

You may share the original, unmodified program package with other Atari users.
You may not sell modified copies as your own product or remove author/license
notices from distributed builds.

The program is provided "as is". The author is not responsible for lost files,
incorrect exports, broken build pipelines, missed deadlines, hardware damage,
or any other direct or indirect loss caused by using the software.

Atari is a trademark of its respective owner. This project is independent and
is not affiliated with or endorsed by Atari.
